As the election results rolled in, the shock rippled up my vertebrae, and my jaw dropped. I won. I won! Wait, I beat Sabrena? One thought dominated my thinking. That day hadn’t gone as planned. I, however, wielded silent observation and poignant commentary as my tools of choice. I churned through work and ignored influencing others. I spoke up to maintain fairness and diplomacy.
